Wood swells and shrinks as it absorbs and releases moisture. Our microporous coatings allow this moisture exchange and withstand swelling and shrinkage without blistering, flaking or peeling.
UV radiation changes the lignin in wood and makes it water-soluble. Rain then washes the lignin away, so wood becomes grey and brittle. Our wood coatings offer an especially high content of solids and it has very good UV protection.
