OIL STAIN

Colour and protect wooden floors without visible transitions, applying a single coat of the Oil Stain will create a transparent look showing the wood’s natural grain, whilst an optional second coat can give a more intensive colour tone. A clear final coat of Osmo Polyx®-Oil 2K is a must to protect pigmented finishes from wearing the colour. Oil Stain Hardener is an optional second component which can be used to harden the finish which reduces the drying and curing time to just 4 hours! -
POLYX OIL PURE

Osmo Polyx®-Oil Pure is stain-resistant, waterrepellent and abrasion-resistant and results in a surface that is pleasant to the touch In comparison to conventional finishes, the use of plant ingredients creates a more even colour and more harmonious
appearance. Simple application – without primer or intermediate sanding – this saves time and money.
Suitable for wood; microporous surface will not crack, peel, flake or blister. Resistant against wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juice, milk and water in accordance with German DIN 68861-1A – no water spots. The dry finish is safe for humans, animals and plants (resistant to saliva and perspiration acc. German DIN 53160, suitable for children‘s toys acc. EN 71.3).

Anti-Slip Polyx®-Oil is resistant to water and dirt, is very durable. Special additives give a structure to the dry finish and help to achieve a slip resistance up to R11 classification. The hardwax-oil finish retains the natural character of the wood, is microporous and does not crack, flake, peel or blister.

EFFECTIVE SURFACE DESIGNTO EFFECT
Silver (3091) and Gold (3092) colours are designed for dark wood species such as smoked Oak, to highlight the grain with modern colour effects. The surface becomes very water and dirt resistant and extremely durable.

Clear wood finishes give a permanent ‘wet-look’. Raw (3044) prevents this effect, a minimal amount of white pigments are used to counteract this effect whilst retaining the natural light colour tone of new or sanded wood.

Unique preservative wood primer especially developed for wood’s prone to moisture and susceptible to blue stain in wet rooms such as bathrooms. Suitable for any wood in the interior including kitchen work surfaces, flooring, window frames and joinery. Also suitable for the exterior where an absolutely economical, non-biocidal impregnation is required, e.g. children’s toys, raised garden beds for plants and animal housing.

WOOD WAX FINISH INTENSIVE COLOURS
Quick ViewIntensive colours allow the wood’s natural grain and character to remain visible after the first coat, however these characteristics become hidden after the second coat. For high tread surfaces such as flooring – only one coat is recommended, followed by a clear coat of Polyx®-Oil. This is to ensure the colour is also protected from wear. For furniture, joinery and children’s toys – a second coat can be applied for an opaque colour tone, hiding the wood’s character.

WOOD WAX FINISH TRANSPARENT COLOURS
